The Hospital Accountability Project, through its research and advocacy, focuses on the practices of Chicago area hospitals and their impact on patients, caregivers, and the broader community. We are taking action to hold Chicago’s largest private, nonprofit health care provider, Advocate Health Care, accountable to its charitable mission.




The Media Center provides an archive of press releases and news coverage of the Hospital Accountability Project’s campaign to pursue health care justice in Chicago.	This section features a series of publications focusing on the practices of Chicago area hospitals, namely Advocate Health Care, and their impact on patients, caregivers, and the broader community.	The pursuit to hold hospitals accountable extends well beyond the Hospital Accountability Project. This section provides links to other advocacy organizations, including our partners in Chicago and throughout the state, and other campaigns to raise health care standards.
